Cowboys versus Indians may be an old, tired trope, but not Cowboys versus Vampires. The latter would be an awesome idea and is also the setting for Flying Wild Hog’s upcoming third-person, dark fantasy, weird wild west action game, Evil West. Published by Focus Entertainment, the game is set to be released on September 20th, for the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and the PC.
The reveal trailer introduces gunslinger Jesse Rentier on his mission to eradicate the supernatural terror by jumping into frantic, gory carnage in a vampire-infested Wild West . As the star agent in his father’s undercover monster-hunting organization, his fight is also a personal war against the nightmarish leading figures in the vampire world. Players take on Jesse’s role as the final line between humanity and the vampire threat, and rise up to become a Wild West Superhero and save the United States!
In visceral, explosive combat, players get to unleash hell with firearms, lightning-fueled gauntlet and gadgets. Unlike Halo Infinite (which is taking its time to get co-op), players get to kill bloodthirsty monstrosities in style as a lone hunter or in co-op with a friend. The narrative-driven campaign will allow players to explore and fight, while upgrading their weapons and hunting tools. Perks can be unlocked to further evolve monster-slaying mastery, allowing players to craft unique playstyles to defeat the supernatural hordes.
