Shaping up to be an interesting second half of the year, with a new Age of Empires and Forza Horizon scheduled to be launched, not to mention Diablo II Resurrected which is due in September. I just bought the pre-order for DII:R at USD 39.99, which basically is the normal version. I felt the Prime Evil Upgrade edition was kind of a rip-off. I already have Diablo III along with its expansion packs, so an additional USD 10 over the normal DII:R for a Mephisto pet and a pair of new wings in DIII? No Thanks.
Early Access to the open beta for DII:R begins on August 13th, which I hope to get in, and the Open Beta starts on August 20th. I’m not too sure WHEN the game will make it to the Nintendo Switch (not on the same release date as the PC), and I guess its a case of FOMO on my part that I’m getting the PC version even though I’ve been chalking up a lot more hours on the Switch version of DIII versus the PC.
