It’s only January but it feels like Halloween already as I’ve been getting announcements and press-releases for horror-tinged game titles. One of them is for BattleJuice Alchemist, an upcoming complex alchemy RPG from developer Alchemical Works and publisher ESDigital Games which will be launching on PC via Steam Early Access soon.
Juice, the protagonist of the game, is called to Caribou Creek to fight the demons that roam the lands. Players get to customize their very own unique version of Juice as they explore the wilderness that once was New England while fighting evil in the classic action RPG isometric top-down view and in bullet-time close combat.
In BattleJuice Alchemist, Alchemical Works aims to redefine the classic ARPG formula with a unique item and skill system, offering players the choice between isometric combat and JRPG-style one-on-one battles.
The demo for BattleJuice Alchemist is now up on Steam. Players are provided with an immersive experience that extends beyond a tutorial level and invited to explore the game’s gloomy first town, Caribou Creek, featuring quirky NPCs, quests, and a ton of mechanics to uncover. They’ll be embarking on a journey through the lush wilderness surrounding the settlement, where ritual magic, potion crafting and of course combat await.
