I actually stopped playing Diablo IV for a bit, the main reason being the amount of repetition that goes into the game due to it being a “live service” game. For example, I just finished clearing out an area only for the enemy to respawn again so that fellow players within the same server can have a go at them. Yup, I missed the days that Diablo was primarily a single player experience.
But if you are one who is keen to try out Diablo IV, be sure to note that the game will be getting a 25% discount starting from August 30th at 1 a.m. Malaysian Time (GMT +8) until the 6th of September on Battle.net.
Plus, from September 2, 1 a.m. Malaysian Time(GMT+8) through September 6, 1 a.m. Malaysian Time (GMT+8), the Blessed Mother (Lilith, for those who don’t know the in-game lore) has bestowed upon Sanctuary a gift allowing players to receive XP and Gold at a 25% increased rate. This applies to both the Seasonal and Eternal Realms, and for all World Tiers.
This sort of boost doesn’t come by very often, so if you are still playing Diablo IV, be sure to take the opportunity to level up your character(s) and snag legendary loot. One can wonder at the timing of this sale and XP/gold boost considering that Starfield is launching during the same time period.
While the Standard version of Starfield launches on the 6th of September, those that paid for the Premium Edition will have early access from the 1st of September. I managed to snag a 3-months subscription to Game Pass Ultimate, so I’ve started pre-loading the Game Pass version of the game. I don’t feel like paying full price for the game at the moment, so I might just snag a discounted version of Starfield somewhere down the road on Steam.
