Some pretty cool indie mobile games came out this week (and last week as well), so I thought I would share them over here. First up, RPG fans should check out Surviving Titan, an open world, sci-fi survival game with retro 2D graphics where players explore a randomly generated world after crash-landing into it.
With a heavy “craft-your-own-adventure” slant, players get to explore the different biomes on the planet Titan, each with their landscape, resources and inhabitants, players get to craft and up-skill their way in this obvious labour of love (it took 2 years to build this) by game creator Myles Panayiotis. Surviving Titan is available on the iOS App Store for USD 3.99. Check it out over here: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/surviving-titan/id1476207980
Next up is a mash-up between arcade racing and shmup; titled Chaos Road for both Android and iOS. The game mixes up 2D and 3D graphics, where players drive different cars to blast their way through a city in order to rid it of crime. Players get to upgrade their vehicles with special weapons and even drones as they take on crime bosses with their own unique vehicles and combat patterns. The game is available on the App Store for free, with in-app purchases. Check it out over here: https://apps.apple.com/app/id1471023434
