Most iOS jigsaw puzzles, especially the free ones, usually come with a limited number of boards, and a low count of pieces per board. But that isn’t the case with Jigsaw Bug, a brand new and free iOS puzzle game by Digital Strawberry which aims to set the high benchmark for future puzzle games. The boards in Jigsaw Bug are grouped together in different categories and while there are plenty of boards to choose from, players get to purchase additional packs containing new boards.
Choosing a board will allow the player to choose the type of cut style along with the number of pieces before starting off. Players can choose to solve puzzles from as little as 4 pieces to up to 300 pieces. Jigsaw Bug comes with several advanced features that will appeal to even the most hardcore of players, with the ability to sort through the pieces, filter to show only the edge pieces and automatic saving.
There’s nothing much to critique about the game, and other than the lack of background music, the game is pretty much perfect. Nineoverten.com rates Jigsaw Bug at a 5 out of 5 for being totally awesome.
