Back in 2009, our friends at Freeverse released Skee-Ball for the App Store but I suppose that was the unofficial Skee-Ball title as now, Scopely (the folks behind the brilliant and addictive Wordly, review here) has come up with Skee-Ball Arcade, the only officially licensed Skee-Ball game for iOS and Android devices. This free-to-play title has just been released today, and features easy to use controls whereby players flick a finger to roll the ball and tilt the device to control the roll.
There are power-ups to slow time, launch multiple balls, perfect your aim and more. Players can choose between five unique machines at launch, including Classic, Galaxy and Pinball, join daily tournaments with players from all around the world, including random strangers and social network buddies.
