With each following update, the action will shift to varying locations and continents with the concrete development influenced directly by the participation of players. The action will be global, players will fight against local zombies in Shanghai, London or in the middle of the desert far away in Africa.
Dead Trigger 2 will be released in Free-to-play format for both iOS and Android devices, as well as on Steam, Mac and Facebook.
Transport Tycoon Release Date
Chris Sawyer’s 31X Ltd and Origin8 Technologies Ltd have announced that the classic hit Transport Tycoon will arrive on the iOS App Store and Google Play in revitalised form on the 3rd of October 2013. Upon its original release in 1994, Transport Tycoon was heralded as the new standard in management simulation games, remaining a high watermark in the genre almost two decades later.
Transport Tycoon for mobile platforms has been designed and directed by legendary game designer Chris Sawyer, the original creator of Transport Tycoon, Transport Tycoon Deluxe, and Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 & 2. Veteran developers Origin8 have recreated and restored Sawyer’s original simulation code, resulting in the deepest, richest simulation game yet seen on mobile.
“I’m delighted that we are able to bring Transport Tycoon to mobile devices and tablets and I hope that players of the original PC games – as well as people who have never played the original – will thoroughly enjoy the rejuvenated game on a platform it suits so well,” said Chris Sawyer.
“It’s been quite a challenge for the Origin8 development team to re-write the game from scratch and adapt it to the smaller touch-screen interface but the result is probably one of the most extensive and intricate games currently available for mobile platforms, a testament to Origin8’s skills and to the processing power now available on these devices. I hope the game’s size and depth of gameplay will keep players entertained and engrossed for months, if not years.”
