It’s always been a favourite arguement among critics for the iPad would be that it isn’t so much of a device designed for content creation. The situation hasn’t improved much but there now more apps out there that provide avenues for content creation, but in ways that you’ve never expected. Take for instance this week’s App of the Week, Comics Hero, a comics creation app for the iPad.
Created by Nick Golovin, the app allows users to create comics all by themselves, starting by choosing the template which sets the number of panels, combining different character elements to come up with thousands of characters, adding pictures as backgrounds to panels, and eventually publish the final product as a PNG or PDF file.
This is the first comics generator designed especially for iPad by a professional web-designer, so what users get is a high-quality product with plenty of attention to detail. It is also a brilliant tool for children and adults alike to express their imagination.
Comics Hero was released last month on the iTunes App Store and is available at the price of USD 4.99. Check it out over here: https://itunes.apple.com/app/comics-hero/id424113678?mt=8
