iFun4 All’s latest game for the iPhone, The M, is actually the shortform for The Mysterious Puzzles. Judging from the title alone, you can probably guess what is the game all about, puzzles, and both jigsaw and slider puzzle modes are covered in this game. Personally I’m a jigsaw puzzle fan, and I would flock to that mode at the first opportunity. Fortunately, The M’s jigsaw puzzles do not disappoint and are well suited for the iPhone’s small screen real estate.
The jigsaw puzzles themselves, depending on difficulty level, range from 3 * 3 to 5 * 5 and one of the things that I like about the game is that some puzzles are pieces of art rather than photographs, and these tend to have a medieval/fantasy feel on them, which is pretty cool. The jigsaw mode adds another element in which pieces not only need to be moved, but also rotated into the correct position. The slider puzzles on the other hand are easier in which players just need to slide pieces around.
The M is a pretty decent puzzle game and I hope to see the developers add more puzzles in the upcoming updates. The game comes with OpenFeint integration and there’s the ability for players to log into Facebook and post up their scores as bragging rights.
