Hmm…some of these puzzle games on the iPhone require the reflexes of a cat, but cats don’t play on a touchscreen do they? Symbol6 Redux by Gogogic is a puzzle matching game for the iPhone and the gameplay mechanics require fast hand-eye coordination on part of the player. Taking charge of a set of tiles located in the middle of the screen, players are supposed to swap the tiles around to match the incoming tiles coming in from the edges of the screen.
Occasionally a bad tile will come along and players will have to tilt the set of tiles to block off the bad tile. Causing an incoming tile to collide against a tile of a different type will result in the health bar being deducted. The game gets faster as the levels progress and if you were to see me playing the game, it’s will look like a frantic mess trying to get the tiles right. Even though it’s kinda like raining puzzle games on Nine Over Ten 9/10, Symbol6 Redux managed to give a pretty good account for itself, and as an added bonus, the game is free!
Symbol6 Redux is now available on the App Store, check it out over here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/symbol6-redux/id397969134?mt=8. Nine Over Ten 9/100 gives Symbol6 Redux 4 out of 5 stars. RECOMMENDED.
