NEW YORK & LONDON – August 12, 2010 – I-play, Oberon Media’s publishing division and the world’s leading multi-platform casual games publisher, today announced that the MotoGP 2010 game has launched for the iPhoneâ„¢ and iPod touch®. Based on the world’s premier motorcycling championship series, the 3D racing game delivers the excitement, speed and realism of the 2010 season complete with all the riders, tracks and enhancements that make MotoGP the ultimate in two-wheel racing.
In the only official iPhone game for 2010, MotoGP 2010 delivers to racing fans the perfect mix of realism and arcade handling. The game features 17 of the sport’s elite riders – including Valentino Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo, Casey Stoner, Dani Pedrosa and more – along with all pertinent biographical information. Once players have chosen their favorite rider it is time to kick it in gear as they compete in the 2010 season by traveling to all 18 official tracks in the series such as Losail, Jerez and Indianapolis, including the new circuit at Motorland Aragon in Spain. The game also brings these tracks to life through an unlockable image gallery that showcases the real circuits of the world tour.
In order to allow players to fully experience the speed sensation on the tracks, the game offers a progressive difficulty level along with accelerometer controls that lean the bike while riding. Additionally, advanced AI challenges players until the final finish line of the season while the game’s iPod Library support allows them to create their own exhilarating soundtrack – ensuring that the excitement continues at every turn.
