The 2nd day of E3 2010’s coverage didn’t yield much items of interest, except that Gran Turismo 5 finally gets dated with the release date being set for November 2 and like Killzone 3, it will be in 3D. Also announced is the premium subscription to the PSN, called PlayStation Plus which for USD 49.99 a year, offers additional content, early demo access and discounts on certain items within the PlayStation Store.
The first portal was a crazy game which well, unlike the hordes of fans out there, I didn’t share the same sentiment (I didn’t like the game). But in anycase, Portal 2 was announced for the PS3(!) and a trailer was released too! The antagonist sounds two levels down from that crazy Shodan AI from System Shock 2….creepy:
THQ and Relic supplied probably the coolest trailer of the day, in the form of Warhammer 40000: Space Marine. It’s a 3rd person action-RPG game coming for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Check out some Orc-bashing in the game’s first ever trailer, below:
