I woke up this morning, skipped the usual World Cup 2010 highlights and went looking for E3 related news and sure enough Day 1 of this storied and longstanding Expo doesn’t disappoint. And among the big news to hit this morning, two of them resonate with me the most. First is the launch of the redesigned Xbox 360 with 250 GB hard drive and built-in WiFi. This next video is probably the best thing that ever happened on Day 1 of E3 2010. It signifies the revival of a dormant franchise that has long been anticipated,and in fact demanded. With Criterion Games on board and current generation graphics, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit will see the light of day THIS YEAR. There’s nothing more awesome than this:
