If there’s one thing about Christmas that we don’t get over here in Malaysia, it would be snow. I think I would spend plenty of time making snowballs and giving some people their “just desserts” if snow were to fall in this place.
But anyways, Grinchmas for the iPhone and iPod Touch lets you take on the role of the Grinch, throwing snowballs at Who households. The challenge here is to throw for the longest period of time, before the din of Christmas overwhelms the Grinch.
On the other hand, you can play as the “good” Grinch, throwing presents at the Who households and this is more of a time attack, getting the most number of houses (and hearts) in under 2 minutes. Throwing either presents or snowballs is done by swiping the screen, something that’s pretty easy and hard to master at the same time.
The game features surprisingly nice 3D graphics, which makes it easy on the eyes and a Christmassy jingle that well, suites the theme, for lack of a better description.
Check out the demo video below (not taken by me) on how Grinchmas is played:
Grinchmas is a pretty simple game that should keep the young ones occupied while you are driving/travelling this Christmas season. It’s available at USD 1.99 at the App Store, click here for details.
