I think EDGE magazine (UK-based) did the Malaysian video games industry a really big favour with quite a number of pages on the industry, the studios and the universities/learning institutes involved in its November issue.
Excuse the poor picture quality, but if you want to read more about the local industry, grab a copy of EDGE November 2009 (comes within a cardboard pack with Assassins Creed II on the cover and WarDevil on the magazine’s cover).
I don’t see this kind of coverage in local gaming mags, and even if there were, I don’t see those articles showing up on their international counterparts (like this is gonna show up States-side in PC Gamer).
Nine Over Ten 9/10 » Malaysian Video Games Industry in EDGE November 09 Issue…
I think EDGE magazine (UK-based) did the Malaysian video games industry a really big favour with quite a number of pages on the industry, the studios and the universities/learning institutes involved in its November issue….
But EDGE has always had that running theme where they feature developers from all over the world. So, I think in line with that theme, they could afford to give Malaysia a good story as well.
But I am not sure if we would have been on the radar screen if Codemasters wasn’t here though.
I believe is a good coverage by EDGE… Malaysia for the past few years have been contributing alot of the development of games such as online games and all… A really good boost to us, i must say…
